My life ° It's Full of Wonderful Discovery ®: Retouching and Enhancing Digital Photographs

Step 1 - I had chosen a 'outer space' picture be my background, use "Move Tool" to move to my A4 size paper.

Step 2 - Select the earth picture and crop with the circle shape by using "Elliptical Marquee Tool". Move it into my picture by using "Move Tool".

Step 3 - Select the layer of outer space and use the "Brush Tool" with "overlay" mode to draw beside the earth.

Step 4 - Use "Magnetic Lasso Tool" to select the shape of logo MMU.

Step 5 - Use "Move Tool" to move the logo MMU into the picture and create a new layer with using the "Brush Tool" with overlay and change the blending mode of layer to color and using the orange color to brush on the earth.

Step 6 - Select and double click on the layer of logo MMU, choose the outer glow with the blend mode "Linear Dodge (Add)", change the opacity to 100%, change the colour to orange and the element size 174 px.

Step 7 - Create a new layer again, use the with using the "Brush Tool" with soft light and using the orange and white color to brush on the logo MMU and outer space, after that change the blending mode of layer to color.

Step 8 - Use the "Move Tools" to move the MMU Building into the picture with using "hard light" of the blending mode.

Step 9 - Create a new layer and use again the "Brush Tool" with the blue colour. Change the brush mode to "sofe light" and blending mode of the layer to "overlay".

Step 10 - Use "Move Tool" to move the aroeplane into the picture and create a new layer and use the "Brush Tool" with "soft light" brush on the aroeplane and change the blending of the layer to "overlay".

Step 11 - Select the human by using "Quick Selection Tool" and move it into the picture

Step 12 - Create a new layer and use "Brush Tool" with "soft light", green colour and and change the blending of the layer to "Saturation".

Step 13 - Use the "Rectangle Tool" to create a rectangle. Double click on the layer and select "Bevel and Embess" change Depth from 100% to 21%, size change to 49px, shading angel change to 129 & -45 and altitude change to 21.

Step 14 - Use "Type Tool" to key in the word, and double click on the layer, select inner shadow, outer glow,bevel emboss, color overlay and adjust it .

Step 15 - Press "Alt + Move Tool" to copy the word and use "Type Tool" to change the word 1 by 1 and adjust it.

Step 16 - Create a new layer and use "brush tool" to brush on the top of MMU Building and change the blending of layer to "overlay".

Step 17 - Use the "Move Tool" to move the MMU Mascot into the picture and adjust it location.

Step 18 - Use the "Magnetic Lasso Tool" to cut the flag and use "Move Tool" to move it into the picture.

Step 19 - select pixel of flag layer and go to "image" - "adjustment"- "replace color" to edit the flag colour.

Step 20 - use the "Quick Selection Tools" to cut the flagpole and use "move tools" to move it into the picture.

Step 21 - use the "type tool" to key in the date of open day and edit it by using "craquelure" on filter - texture.

Step 22 - select pixel of mascot layer and go to "image" - "adjustment"- "replace color" to change the mascot colour.

Step 23 - use "Dodge Tool" to remove the word in this picture and use "magnetic lasso tool" to cut it out and use "move tools" top move it into the picture.

Step 24 - go to Filter - Artistic - Rough Pastels to change the picture effect.

Completed ^^

I have do some adjustment of the image colour, there are "Vibrances" and "Level 1". Besides that, I had use the group tool at the bottom of layer to group in different part of tis picture.
