There are the steps that create My "Cosmic Effect" Photo in Photoshop CS5.

Step 1 - Click on Layer - New- Layer. The select the "Paint Bucket Tool" and fill the background with #000000.


Step 2 - Use "Magnetic Lasso Tool" to cut the selected area.


Step 3 - Use "Move Tools" to move it, after that use "pencil tool" to polish. 


Step 4 - Use "History Brush Tool" with white color in random size and brush on the picture.


Step 5 - Use the "Eraser Tool" to remove the circle that in front the body.


Step 6 - Use "Magnetic Lasso Tool" to cut the selected  area.



Step 7 - Open the Fractal and place it on the picture and change the blending mode of the fractal to "Overlay". Create a new layer and select a soft round brush. Use different colour to roughly cover the background.


Step 8 - Change the blending mode of the layer to "Color".


Step 9 - Use the "Eraser Tool" to remove the color that in front the body.


Step 10 - Select "Rectangle Tool" and create a rectangle.


Step 11 - Change the blending mode of rectangle to "Overlay". Go Layer> Layer style > Bevel and Emboss and change the Depth to 100% and change the angle to 30 degree. After that, use Alt+move tools to copy more rectangle.


Step 12 - Go Image > canvas size > height change to 110%. After that, use the "type tool" to key in the name and student ID.


Step 13 - Create a new layer and use the "Brush Tool" to crush around the body and change the layer mode to "Overlay".

Advanced Layering


Step 1 - Use the "Magnetic Lasso Tool" to cut the gift box and use "move tool" to move it into the picture.



Step 2 - Before use the vanishing point, choose the MMU logo and cut it out by using "Quick Selection Tool" and move the layer of MMU logo to the top of layer and then press "ctrl+A" and "ctrl X", after that go to Filter- Vanishing Point with the key (Alt+Ctrl+V). In the Vanishing Point, use the "Create Plane Tool" to draw at the box, after that press "ctrl+V", the MMU logo will appear, move it to the box. 


Step 3 - Open a new page and use the "transparent" background and use the "type tool" to key in the word "MMU" and change the colour to purple, after that save it in "png" file format. Then, open the png file and move it into the picture. 



Step 4 - Doing the same step with step 2. Choose the layer of MMU text and  move the it to the top of layer and then press "ctrl+A" and "ctrl X", after that go to Filter- Vanishing Point with the key (Alt+Ctrl+V). In the Vanishing Point, use the "Create Plane Tool" to draw at the box, after that press "ctrl+V", the MMU text will appear, move it to the box. 


Step 5 - Go to Layer- Layer style -Outer Glow and change the color to white with opacity 100% , quality -range 100%- jitter 0%, elements - spread 24% - size 131%.


Step 6 - Use the "Vertical type tool" to key in the word "Free Gift" and use the "horizontal type tool" to key in the word "1st 100 students".

Pulau Payar

Pulau Payar is a tiny elongated island location midway between Langkawi and Penang. Designated by Malaysian government as a marine park since 1985. The main island is narrow with the whole of the northwestern coast  made up of rocky terrain with steep cliffs and wave-cut gullies. Much of the island is covered with verdant vegetation, while the few beaches are most inviting with white fine-grain sand. Belying their diminutive sizes, the islands offer a variety of habitats. 




Pulau Payar is also rich in flora and fauna, home to various species of wild orchids, rock pigeon, monitor lizards, Protected water from low-water mark up to 3km from land. Fishing is banned. Collecting shells, rocks and corals are also illegal. Pulau Payar are allow the visitors to gazebos, picnic tables, camping. cutting of trees and opren burning are strictly prohibited.Threatened endemic species of palm – Pholidocarpus kingianus (Kepau Kecil, Serdang) found in Thailand and northern Peninsular has adapted to the islands and can be found in abundant. Fauna found in the park are monitor lizard, flying fox, shore pit viper, lizards and score of insects. There are 21 species of birds which include White-bellied sea eagle, crested serpent eagle, egret and imperial pigeon.

The flora


Pulau Payar Marine Park is famous for the varied and colourful marine life, offer the best diving site on Peninsular. Except  the water activities, there have two hiking trails that have been constructed to enable visitors to explore and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding sea and beyond. 

Hiking Trail


Pulau Payar has seen various developments. A Marine Park Centre and washrooms have been rebuilt and enlarged to cater for mass tourism. Other facilities include information in the form of charts, posters and maps to provide enough information on the park for visitors. Artificial reefs were built from tires, concrete blocks and old boats to attract marine life within the park. Beaches are lease out to the tour operators who brought tourists into the park. A private floating reef platform which is moored off Pulau Payar catered for more affluent tourists.
